1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TaxiFare ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. User Accounts
You may create an account to contribute fare data. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
3. User Contributions
By submitting taxi routes, ranks, fare data, comments, or any other content, you grant TaxiFare a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service. Contributions that have been approved will remain part of the public dataset even if you later delete your account.
4. Content Accuracy
TaxiFare relies on community-submitted data. We do not guarantee that fare information is accurate, complete, or up to date. Always confirm fares with the taxi operator. TaxiFare is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information provided through the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to submit false or misleading fare data, spam or harass other users, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. When you delete your account, your profile, comments, and personal data are permanently removed. Route and rank contributions you made will remain in the system but will no longer be attributed to you. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
TaxiFare is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxiFare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
